The "RestingPlace" (Jeremiah 50:6)

This home, and as God has led us to call it, "The RestingPlace",
(from Jeremiah 50:6) was graciously donated to
Releasing Grace Ministries in 2006 for the purpose of establishing
a retreat, counselling, and rest center for those serving and
struggling in Christian ministry.

This beautiful home is situated along a mountain ridge on
the edge of 5 acres of rolling hills and woods, approximately
5 miles from Proctorville, Ohio on County Road 12. With a
beautiful panoramic view of the mountains
"The RestingPlace" will provide a quiet and serene place
to find rest, encouragement, and solitude with the Lord.

While the exterior construction of "The RestingPlace" has
been completed, the interior still requires a vast amount of
labor and finances to bring to completion, which will involve
both finishing the home as well as furnishing it. We are
absolutely assured and trusting this will be accomplished as
God graciously provides both the help with labor and finances
to finish it.

The "Restingplace" will provide spacious living with its 2 floors
consisting of approximately 12,000 square feet. Included in
this will be a library/reading/computer room, a recreation area,
a fully equipped kitchen and large dining area, a spacious conference
room overlooking the property, and 9 bedrooms most having
their own bathroom. There is also a host suite on the first floor
where a staff member will live to care for those who are staying
in the home. Eventually our plans are also to have a pond with a
fountain and benches to sit and relax by, a screened in gazebo at
the end of a walking trail to read, pray, or visit with others, as well as
a private outdoor jacuzzi for those who just need to soak a while!
There is also enough land to eventually build a lodge where we could
possibly accomodate more people for larger retreats and seminars.
We can dream big and plan but ultimately we are held in anticipation
for what God has in store for "The RestingPlace" and
Releasing Grace Ministries. Our desire is that in all He chooses to
do through us we will be a channel for Christ to "release His grace"
to others.
